Key Way Locksmith, a family owned and operated business since 1984. Started in Salt Lake City by Rick Wilkinson & Melanie Wilkinson.
In 1986 Key Way Locksmith opened a shop located at 854 S Redwood Road in Salt Lake City, Utah and remained there until about 1998 when the building we were in was demolished to make room for expansion. Since then we've been a mobile only locksmith service and continue to serve the Salt Lake City area.
Shortly after we opened our shop I started a lock related software business KeySoft Security Software® and in 1989 I started selling my "master keying" software world wide to Locksmiths as well as Universities, Government buildings, Apartments, Hotels, Motels, Hospitals and anyone else that master keyed their own locks.
